Chapter 45 Feeding Baby Wyvern

I started breakfast with some simple eggs, toast, and all the meat we had in the house. I forgot what time it was due to all the commotion but I did not really care.

I was focusing on my newly found Soul Partners. Since they were able to materialize on Earth. I want them to get a taste of the great cook I was.

I finished cooking a few dozen eggs, three packages of toast, and all the meat we had. I never thought the day would come when I found myself overcooking.

I happen to glance at the clock now. It was 10 am and I was not going to school because I cooked everything in the house.

Even my female neighbors would laugh their entire week off. I never felt so bad that I overcooked. Since this was technically a celebration. Oh well.

Baby Wyvern and my Spider Queen both came out of my Soul and stared at the food I cooked.

Baby Wyvern decided to eat all the burgers we had. The Spider Queen ate the ham and was slightly pleased by it. Baby Wyvern burped and ate all the eggs next.

Spider Queen nested back on the top of my head and ate a piece of toast. She was quite delighted. I felt better seeing her being happy.

The girls and my parents both looked at the celebration food. Seeing it disappear before they got a plate. Even worse I cooked it and I did not have one yet.

That got all of them fired up. They stormed the kitchen and started to fix plates and hand them out. Even though the famous ham was in the delighted Spider Queen's belly. Everyone enjoyed a plate, even both my Soul Partners.

We ate and decided to get back on the game. Once I had logged in, I focused on my Tamer's ability.

Feeling the connection with my tamed monsters. I asked them to get me twenty Ninth Realm Dragon Beast Cores.

Now we just had to wait. The wait only lasted 10 minutes. Baby Wyvern and I played around. I would lift her up into the air, release her, she would try to flap her wings before falling into my arms. I would snuggle with her and continue doing this for the entire wait time.

Spider Queen attempted one in my Soul only for her daughter to get scared and dart into the deepest part of the web.

I found it amusing that my Queen would attempt such a thing. Seeing that she was honestly trying to have fun like I was. I told her to come out and join me.

Before feeding Baby Wyvern, I tossed my Spider Queen up into the air. She did a fancy spin and landed right on top of my head. I frowned on her but she just enjoyed the top of my head.

The Wyvern boss looked at all twenty of my Mythical Dragon Beast Cores and gave his daughter the best one he saw out of the bunch.

"That was the purest one I could see. Since I only have a slight Realm difference, I truly hope it was the best one."

Hearing his explanation, I began to ponder how his slight Realm difference meant. I know being a Dragonborn already put a newborn at a higher rank than most Eighth Realm Monsters. Being a Wyvern Dragonborn, I did not know the difference.

"Dragonborns come from any Dragon-like creature. When we manifest into our Dragon form, we go into the Dragon-like creature our bloodline is."

Hearing that I became worried about my Baby Wyvern. I heard tales of wyverns being able to ascend to Dragons. I did not want my Baby Wyvern to toss me into the air and catch me.

That would be unforgivable. A child tossing his or her parent(s) into the air. Civilization would have to become completely barren.

The Dragonborn seemed to understand what I was thinking. He glanced at his daughter.

"My daughter will be able to change her form once she completely absorbs that Beast Core. If she desires to be like that. I will not complain, but I do want to see her true form once she completely grows up."

The Dragonborn had a slight smile on his face. I could tell he was genuinely happy to know his daughter would grow up happily. I was afraid that he would have to fight her once he saw her true form.

"You two will have to fight against each other won't you?"

I had a nervous gut feeling. I truly hope that the look he is going to give me will tell me wrong. I know from my past life seeing that smile means a fight to the bitter end.

The Dragonborn looked at me and I saw the look of agreement. I wanted to fall to my knees. I did not want my and his daughter to fight him. I knew that would be the outcome, no matter what I tried to do just by seeing his face.

"Precious, grow up healthy and strong okay?"

The Dragonborn had the defeated tear coming out of his eyes. I did not want him to give up this early. I will change the outcome, I would do it and will do it for the sake of my Baby Wyvern.

Baby Wyvern just licked the Ninth Realm Dragon Beast Core. Absorbing the monstrous Beast Core was nothing to laugh at. Even Iris's father had a hard time absorbing a wyvern's Beast Core in the Ninth Realm.

My Baby Wyvern just licked the Beast Core. Spider Queen also came out and watched the little baby absorb the Beast Core. She was proud that she was the first Soul Partner of mine. While the baby had just attached itself to my Soul for the Soul Partner.

Kissing Baby Wyvern on the head. She immediately went inside her little spot and absorbed the rest of the Beast Core.

The Dragonborn left. So I decided to watch Baby Wyvern absorb the Beast Core.

"She looks so cute!" I could not contain my excitement.

Even the Spider Queen looked happily watching me. Her daughter looked at Baby Wyvern and got jealous.

"I promise I will let you have some high ranking Beast Cores. Just wait till the next Realm dear."

The Spider Queen was on top of her daughter, I could swear that she was trying to give her a hug. Her daughter thought otherwise and just remained there. It seemed like she had given up hope of becoming the future Queen.

I reached up and petted her. Her eyes glowed at me and I smiled.

I took another glance at Baby Wyvern and saw her sleeping happily. I was glad that these two monsters were connected to my Soul. I would have taken a long time through the Realms and never been so happy.
