Chapter 61 The group meets Darkily

"When we meet up with the women around me. Remember I hired you to help me kill these Priests. I paid you 13 gold for it." Rex glared at Darkily.

"Of course."

"Why in the hell did you spend 13 gold to hire me!" Darkily cursed inwardly.

Arriving in front of the Priest's house. Seeing the door already kicked in. Rex felt a little upset.

"What happened?" Rex wondered.

Before he took a step inside. He got pinned to the side of the wall.

"What took you so long?" Olivia made each word clear.

It was nearly 1:00 pm now. Olivia was extremely mad.

"I hired a man to help us. He has done a lot of killing." Rex pointed towards Darkily.

Olivia went over and stared deep into his Soul.

"I do not appreciate women who do not know manners. So tell me your name before I send swords down your throat." Darkily was upset with the glares.

"Sir, this is one of my concubines. This is Olivia Silverheart." Rex did not know her last name.

Darkily began sweating.

"You mean the Silverheart Slaughter?" Darkily asked.

Olivia looked at Rex. She had not told him her last name. She found it extremely bad luck that he knew her last name.

"Of course. Now tell me yours." Olivia was at her boiling point.

"Darkily." Darkily answered.

Olivia's mouth dropped. She had heard tales of this man throughout her years. Everything from nobles killing to wiping out towns and villages.

"How much did my husband hire you for?" Olivia asked nicely.

"I owed a tab of 13 Gold. He paid for my services." Darkily answered.

Olivia could not even imagine how much Luck Rex had getting this famous killer for just 13 Gold. She would have thought that Rex sold his Soul just to see the man.

"Well, now that you are currently on my husband's side. I will not kill you. If you dare betray his trust. I will personally fight you to death." Olivia made each word clear.

"Yeah but I am more afraid of your husband than you." Darkily cried inwardly.

Iris and Liz both found this interaction funny. They went up and introduced themselves.

"I am Iris daughter of Maximum. I hope you enjoy your stay with us." Iris had a gentle tone to her voice.

"Maximum's daughter is near that guy!" Darkily cried inwardly.

"The pleasure is all mine. My name is Darkily. I hope you do not mind me joining." Darkily spoke.

"Of course not. The more the merrier." Iris said with enthusiasm.

Liz was getting upset that Iris was spending too much time with the man.

"I am Elizabeth. The daughter of Demon, I hope you enjoy your stay with us." Liz said.

"NOT ONLY MAXIMUM BUT DEMON ALSO." Darkily had a broken heart.

"I am Violet. I am the daughter of Life-giver. Do whatever pleases you." Violet peeked at Darkily and disappeared.

Darkily had tears in his Soul from the biggest names casually being said to him. He never would have imagined that meeting 'The Man' would have given him a chance he always wanted.

"Maybe I can get a good reputation by spending time with them." Darkily hoped.

"Well, since this deed done. We might as well go on ahead and get some lunch." Rex said.

Everyone looked at Rex. Seeing that he wanted to go get something to eat, they decided to follow him.

Olivia made sure to keep Rex in arm's length. Iris and Liz both glared at Olivia.

Before entering the only restaurant in Rith. Olivia made sure to kiss Rex. She only added fuel to the fire that was Iris and Liz.

The trio now wanted absolutely nothing but to fight. Darkily watched this whole interaction and found it funny.

"This group only focuses on Rex. While Rex is the biggest key to make them all work together. He is too dangerous to leave by himself." Darkily whispered under his breath spoke.

The group entered and ordered their meal. Olivia got the pouch that she gave to Rex. Finding that only 13 Gold was missing, she became dumbfounded.

"HE TRULY ONLY HIRED HIM FOR 13 GOLD!" Olivia inwardly shouted.

Seeing that Olivia checked the pouch that Rex used to pay for the bottle of liquor. Darkily understood why he said what he did.

"I truly do not understand how you completely thought of everything beforehand." Darkily thought with a mouthful of decent food.

Outside the restaurant

Rex's parents wanted Rex to come with them outside of Rith. Rex followed them.

"Darkily. I know you are strong but Rex only needs us." Liz said.

Darkily did not even move towards her. He kept watching Rex. Olivia took a mental note of this.

"Rex only needs himself. The mass murder was done by himself within minutes. It took him longer trying to get everything he could off of them." Darkily answered.

Olivia tried to move her mouth but found that it had been shut tight.

Iris and Liz both felt that their minds had been blown. They knew Rex had gotten strength from somewhere but knowing he also killed that much. The two did not know how to respond.

Margaret, Amber, and Violet all took notes of how each one responded to the news. They also made sure to let the big men know that a meeting was needed.

"Enough of this sad talk. We need to brighten up with a fight." Darkily's eyes fired up.

Olivia's eyes also fired up. She had been wanting a match for a very long time.

Outside the town

"Mom, Dad what is up?" Rex asked.

"The girls wanted to talk to Darkily. So that is why we called you out." Rex's father replied.

Rex's mother worried that her son was afraid of what would happen. Seeing the calm look on her son's face. She began to worry about what would happen if he decided to let everything go.

Rex held his parents close to him. Their family began to walk around. With mainly a forest-like environment, they found rabbit beasts that were eating meat.

"The nuisance beasts are around." Rex said.

"Nuisance beasts?" Rex's mother questioned.

The rabbits all turned and showed razor sharp teeth. The fur on them turned red and their eyes had a hue to them.

Before one of them could make a move. Daggers pierced each of them twice. Nearly twenty rabbits were instantly killed.

Turning around Darkily had a pleasant smile.

"That is how the great Darkily makes a debut in the forest." Darkily laughed.

Olivia, Iris, and Liz laughed with Darkily. Margaret, Amber, and Violet all shared the opinion of interesting but not good. Rex's parents were thankful. Rex saw that nearly forty daggers were thrown and all of them were duplicates.

"This guy is truly a good friend." Rex smiled inwardly.

The Spider Queen saw Rex happy. She too wanted him to be happy. Seeing Darkily casually kill all of those rabbits. She found a good Darkily to be a good companion while they travel.
